Rasha is a queer, non-binary social worker who lives and practices on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. They were born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, and immigrated to Canada at the age of 15. As a therapist, Rasha is client-centred and trauma-informed; the focal point is celebrating clients’ strengths and resiliency while acknowledging their struggles. Outside of therapy, Rasha enjoys climbing rocks, swooning over their horse, driving her Jeep and keeping their 3 cats out of trouble.
Rasha specializes in sexual and gendered violence, gender and sexuality, family conflict and trauma, cultural dissonance, living in and resisting a systemically oppressive society, body image, eating disorders, life transitions, self-esteem/confidence, navigating polyamory, childhood trauma and others.
